These Towns/Villages Are Never Known to Have Had a US Post Office

Not every town or village wanted or needed a US Post Office. Some chose not to have a PO because it would mean that they would have to change their name since another town/village in South Carolina had already claimed that name. Many never grew to any size that would warrant having a PO, or they were close enough to another nearby town that did have a PO. The following lists are by no means 100%, but these are the only ones I can find so far. If I find more they will be added to these pages.
