An Act to Amend Section 4 of an Act Entitled "An Act to Provide for the Establishment of a New School District Lying in Aiken and Barnwell Counties, to be Known as the 'Edisto River School District,'" Approved December 22d, A.D. 1891, so as to Provide for the Election of Trustees.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, That section 4 of an Act entitled "An Act to provide for the establishment of a new school district lying in Aiken and Barnwell Counties, to be known as the 'Edisto River School District,'" approved December 22d, A. D. 1891, be, and the same is hereby, amended by striking out all of said section, after the words section 4, and inserting in lieu thereof the following words: "There shall be elected by the qualified electors in said school district, five persons resident in said district as Trustees, who shall hold their office for two years, or until their successors are elected and qualified. The election of said Trustees to be held at such time and place within said district as may be designated by the County Superintendent of Education for Aiken County, after three weeks' notice being given of such time and place, in writing, to the Superintendent of Education of Barnwell County, and by posting in said district. The said County Superintendent of Education shall appoint the managers to conduct said election, and declare the result thereof;" so that said section, as amended, shall read as follows:

"Section 4.
