A Joint Resolution to Require the Penitentiary Authorities to Furnish a Certain Number of Convicts to the Regents of the State Hospital for the Insane.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, That the Superintendent and Board of Directors of the State Penitentiary are hereby authorized and required to furnish to the Superintendent and Board of Regents of the State Hospital for the Insane, able-bodied convicts of such a number and for such a period or periods of time during the year 1899 as may be fixed and determined by the Superintendent and Board of Directors of the Penitentiary and the Superintendent and Board of Regents of the State Hospital for the Insane; said convicts to be employed by the Superintendent and Board of Regents of the State Hospital for the Insane in work connected with said hospital.
