An Act to Require the County Treasurers of York, Union and Spartanburg Counties to Turn Over to the Treasurer of Cherokee County Certain School and Other Funds.

Section 1. Re it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, That the County Treasurers of York, Union and Spartanburg Counties be, and they are hereby, authorized and required to pay over to the County Treasurer of Cherokee County all funds which are now or may hereafter come in their hands properly belonging to those portions of Cherokee County which formerly constituted parts of said counties, and take his receipts for the same, which receipts shall be a sufficient voucher for them, and that said County Treasurer of Cherokee County shall hold all county funds subject to the order of the County Board of Commissioners, and all other funds shall be credited to those portions of the said county entitled to the same under the law as it now exists. And the payment of any such funds heretofore made is hereby ratified, confirmed and made valid.
