A Joint Resolution to Authorize and Require the County Board of Commissioners of Barnwell County to Transfer and Convey a Certain School Lot in the Town of Barnwell to the Board of Trustees of the Barnwell Graded School District.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, That the County Board of Commissioners of Barnwell County be, and it is hereby, authorized and required to convey to the Board of Trustees of the Barnwell Graded School District all that certain lot of land situate within the incorporate limits of the town of Barnwell, known as the '"Colored School House Lot," containing two acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: On the north and east by the Blackville Road and Carolina Midland Railroad, south by street which separates it from Henry Brown lot and lot of estate of Nix, and west by the Blackville Road.

Section 2. That the said conveyance be so made as to vest the legal title to the said lot in the said Board of Trustees and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the colored race in said district for educational purposes, in perpetuity.
