An Act Appointing Hon. B.R. Tillman a Trustee of the Winthrop Normal and Industrial College, and to Increase the Number of Trustees One to the Number Now Provided by Law.

Whereas the Board of Trustees of the Winthrop Normal and Industrial College of South Carolina, at their last meeting, passed a resolution requesting that the Honorable B. R. Tillman be appointed a Trustee of the Winthrop Normal and Industrial College, he having performed valuable Services while a member of said Board; therefore,

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That the Honorable B. R. Tillman be, and he is hereby, appointed a member of the Board of Trustees of the Winthrop Normal and Industrial College of South Carolina, and to hold said office for the same term that the last members were elected for.

Sec. 2. That the number of members of said Board of Trustees is increased one to the number already provided for by law.
