A Joint Resolution Authorizing the Trustees of Clemson Agricultural College to Purchase the Tract of Land Belonging to Miss Lee Which Adjoins the Lands Now Belonging to Said College.

Section 1. Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same. That the Trustees of the Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina be, and they are hereby, authorized to purchase for the benefit of said College the lands now belonging to Miss Lee, and which adjoins the lands on which the College is located: Provided, That they do not pay for the same more than the sum of ten thousand dollars, in five equal annual installments.

Sec. 2. That for the purpose of making the first payment on same, the sum of two thousand dollars is hereby appropriated from the funds of the State now in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
