An Act to Authorize the Trustees of the "Graded School of the Town of Bishopville" to Purchase Real Estate for School Purposes, and to Secure the Payment, or of Part Thereof, by Bond and Mortgage.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That the Trustees of the "Graded School of the town of Bishopville" are hereby authorized to purchase real estate, consisting of a lot or lots, and building or buildings thereon, in said school district, suitable for the establishment and maintenance of a graded school or graded schools for and in said school district and to take title therefor in the name of the "Graded School District of the Town of Bishopville;" and to secure the payment of the purchase money, or of part thereof, by executing in the name of the "Graded School District of the Town of Bishopville," and delivering to the person or persons from whom they shall so purchase a bond or bonds, and a mortgage or mortgages, of the premises purchased, bearing interest at the rate of not exceeding eight per centum per annum, said bond or bonds to be paid from and out of the school funds of the said graded school district.
