Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That an Act entitled "An Act to provide for the establishment and maintenance of public schools in School District No. 11, known as Socastee, in Horry County, and to authorize the levy and collection of a local tax therein," ratified the seventeenth* day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.

Sec. 2. That all Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.

* The House and Senate ratified the original Act on December 17th, but it was not approved and signed into law by the governor until December 19th of 1887.
