An Act to Regluate the Election of School Trustees in the School District of the Town of Cheraw.

Acts and Joint Resolutions of the General Assembly of South Carolina 1889, Page 484.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That from and after passage of this Act the Trustees of the "School District of the Town of Cheraw," County of Chesterfield, in this State, shall consist of five persons, who are and shall be qualified electors and voters in said school district on the question of a special tax therein for schools, and said five Trustees shall be elected at the next election to be holden for the purpose of deciding the question of a special tax for schools in said district for a term of two years by those electors who are qualified to vote at said election on the question of the special tax, and thereafter each alternate year for the term of two years.

Sec. 2. That all Acts and Parts of Acts inconsistent with this Act be, and are hereby, repealed.
