An Act to Amend an Act to Create a New School District, to be Known as Greer's Graded School District, Lying in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That "An Act to create a new school district, to be known as Greer's Graded School District, lying in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties," approved December 24th, 1887, be amended by striking out all after the enacting words of Section 1 and inserting the following in lieu thereof:

"That for the purpose of maintaining a graded public school at Greer's, in the County of Greenville, the
inhabitants within the following prescribed limits are declared a body politic and corporate, to wit: Taking the Greer's Academy as a centre, draw a circle extending one-half mile from said academy in every direction, and the said area is declared a new school district, to be known as Greer's Graded School District."
