State of South Carolina,
Pickens County.

To the Honorable the Secretary of State:

In obedience to the requirements of the Acts of the General Assembly, I beg leave to report that I have granted a charter of incorporation to The Educational Joint Stock Company of Central. That the date of said charter of incorporation is 10th July, 1886. The name of said corporation is The Educational Joint Stock Company of Central. The purposes for which it is incorporated are educational. The names of its corporators are S. W. Clayton, President; W. H. Hester, Vice President ; T. W. Folger, Secretary ; J. R. Williams, Treasurer; H. D. Rowland, James H. Gains, T. C. Martin, E. H. Lauriner, Directors. Its principal place of business is Central, and the amount of its capital stock is three thousand dollars.

All of which is respectfully submitted.
