An Act to Cange the Name of the Body Corporate Known as "The Orphan Home and School Association of the Church of the Holy Communion" to "The Holy Communion Church Institute of Charleston."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That the body politic and corporate, organized by Articles of Association, filed in the office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Charleston County, under the name and style of “The Orphan Home and School Association of the Church of the Holy Communion,” shall, from and after the passage of this Act, be known under the name and style of “The Holy Communion Church Institute of Charleston,” and shall be invested with all the rights and privileges of bodies politic and corporate, under the laws of this State, with power to hold real and personal estate to any amount not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars, and succeed to all the rights of property heretofore belonging to the said “The Orphan Home and School Association of the Church of the Holy Communion.”
