An Act to Enable the Vestry of the Parish of St. Thomas and St. Dennis to Apply the Income Derived from the Fund Known as the Beresford Fund Solely to Educational Purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That the vestry of the Parish of St. Thomas and St. Dennis be relieved, till the further pleasure of the General Assembly, from applying the income received by them under the will of Richard Beresford, Esq., to supporting and maintaining the children of the poor of said parish, and the said vestry are hereby authorized and empowered to apply such income solely to the education of the children of such poor.
