An Act to Amend an Act Entitled "An Act to Renew and Amend the Charter of Erskine College, at Due West, Abbebville County, S.C."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That an Act entitled "An Act to renew and amend the charter of Erskine College, at Due West, in Abbeville County, S. C," be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding thereto the following as Section 3: "That the teachers employed in said college and the theological seminary therewith connected and the students in attendance upon the exercises of both branches of said college be, and they are hereby, declared exempt from all duty in the working and repairing of the streets of the town of Due West or the public roads of the County of Abbeville."
