South Carolina During the 2000s - The General Assembly

Members of the 115th General Assembly - 2003 to 2004

This 115th General Assembly convened in two regular sessions: The first session was held from January 14th to June 5th in 2003. The second session was held from January 13th to June 3rd in 2004.

The SC House of Representatives continued as before with one hundred-twenty-four (124) election districts, each with one delegate elected. The SC Senate continued as before with forty-six (46) election districts, each with one delegate elected.

Both branches of the SC General Assembly were reapportioned based upon the 2000 U.S. Census, and all election districts were redrawn. See Map #32.
