Thousands of books have been written on just about every topic pertaining to North Carolina, from its first charter in 1629 to the present day. The Author intends to find as many books online as possible and to include them herein with blank pages removed to minimize file size and to increase readability. All books herein are now considered to be in the Public Domain and no longer under copyright protection. If anyone finds a book herein to not be in the Public Domain, please let me know and I will gladly remove it. The goal here is to pull together as many as can be found into a singular location to help future researchers in their endeavors. More will be added when they are found. Click on the titles to view or download each book. The titles below are typically about topics of a general nature with respect to the state of North Carolina. Books on more specific topics, such as histories or genealogies of individual counties, will be found on that specific county's webpage herein. Similarly, books about each governor will be found on a specific governor's webpage herein. |
