Most pensioners assert that this unit was too late for the battle of Moore's Creek Bridge - they stopped at Cross Creek. However, a small number of men assert that they did, indeed, make it in time for the actual battle. This Author tends to think that this unit was NOT at the battle of Moore's Creek Bridge on 2/27/1776. The Reader can decide for themselves.
