An Act to Amend Chapter Five Hundred and Nine of the Laws of Eighteen Hundred and Ninety-One, Relative to the Graded Schools of Wilson Township, in Wilson County.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. That chapter five hundred and nine of the laws of eighteen hundred and ninety-one be amended by striking out all after the word "thereof" in line three of section two of said chapter and the following enacted in lieu thereof: That George Hackney, A. J. Simms, C. E. Moore, W. P. Wootten, A. B. Deans, Albert Anderson and Jonas Ooettinger be and they are hereby appointed a board of trustees for the Wilson Graded Schools, whose term of office from and after the first Monday in June, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, shall be one year, two years, three years, four years, five years, six years and seven years respectively, and their successors to be elected by the board of aldermen of the town of Wilson at their regular meeting in the month of May.

Sec. 2. That all laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. That this Act shall be in force from and after the the first day of June, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine.
