An Act to Sell School House and Land in District No. 10½ in Buncombe County.

Public Laws and Resolutions of the State of North Carolina Passed in 1897 - Page 634.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. That the school committee, J. W. Rice, E. L. Clark and O. B. Candler, of district number ten and one-half (10½) of Buncombe County, be and are hereby authorized to sell the school house and land belonging to said school district and make title to the purchaser, and apply said money from said purchase by taking stock in the "Hominy Valley Institute," for the use and benefit of the common school in said district No. ten and one-half (10½).

Sec. 2. That this Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.

Ratified the 8th day of March, A.D. 1897.
