An Act to Prohibit the Sale of Spirituous Liquors Within Certain Localities.

The following are only the named schools within this Act - there were schools identified as district x, but did not include a name. Churches and municipalities were also named, but are not included herein due to the subject matter. 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. Unlawful to sell spiritous liquors within two (2) miles of:

- Harrington School House - School District No. 36, Alexander County
- Harrison's School House - Alexander County
- Peak Creek School House - School District No. 55, Ashe County
- Academy Near Gliden - Chowan County
- Fallston High School - Cleveland County
- Warsaw High School - Duplin County
- Reedy Branch Public School House - Granville County
- Fulbright School House - School District No. 54, Shiloh Township, Iredell County
- Pleasant Grove School House - School District No. 75, Iredell County
- Triangle School House - Lincoln County, Plus all Schools in Lincolnton School District
- Greenlee Academy - McDowell County
- Edinboro Academy - Montgomery County
- Pamlico Male and Female Institute - Pamlico County
- Bloomingdale High School - Robeson County
- Morris' School House - Harris Township, Stanly County
- Monroe High School - Union County
- Mount Pleasant Academy - Wake County
- Mount Olive High School - Wayne County

Sec. 2. Unlawful to sell spirituous liquors within three (3) miles of:

- Cooper Springs School House - Cherokee County
- Waynesville Academy - Harnett County
- Clyde Academy - Haywood County
- Hemphill School House - Haywood County
- Oak Ridge School House - School District No. 68, Iredell County

Sec. 3. Unlawful to sell spirituous liquors within two and a half (2-1/2) miles of:

- Big Laurel School House - Ashe County
- Factory School House - Rutherford County

Sec. 4. Unlawful to sell spirituous liquors within one and a half (1-1/2) miles of:

- Juniper Bay School House - Hyde County

Sec. 5. Unlawful to sell spirituous liquors within one (1) mile of:

- Caldwell Institute - Orange County

Sec. 11. That this Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.
