An Act to Change the Name of Winton Academy.

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

Section 1. That wherever the name "Winton Academy" occurs in chapter one hundred and thirty-eight of the private laws of one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, that the same be stricken out and " Chowan Academy" be inserted.

Sec. 2. That this Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.

Ratified the 9th day of March, A.D. 1889.
