An Act to Continue in Force an Act Appointing Trustees for Haywood Academy, in Chatham County.

Private Laws of the State of North Carolina Passed in 1874-75 - Pages 439-440.

Section 1. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That the Act appointing a board of trustees for the Haywood Academy, in Chatham County, be revived and continued in force, and the following persons, Dr. R. H. Wyche, J. S. Walder, A. Moore, J. H. Mann, J. W. Scott, and their successors in office, constitute a board of trustees for the government of the same, with power to fill any vacancy occurring by death or otherwise in said board of trustees, and have sole control of the square upon which said academy is situated.

Sec. 2. That this Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.

Ratified the 3d day of February, A.D. 1875.
