Section 1. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That the first meeting of the trustees of the University of North Carolina elected under the provisions of an Act to provide for the election of trustees of the University of North Carolina, ratified on January 28, 1874 shall take place in the city of Raleigh on the eighteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect from its ratification.

Ratified this 7th day of February, A.D. 1874.
