An Act to Prohibit the Sale of Spirituous Liquors Within Two Miles of Excelsior College, in Burke County.

Public Laws of the State of North Carolina Passed in 1872-73 - Page 47.

Section 1. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That any person selling spirituous liquors within two miles of Excelsior College, in the county of Burke, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than fifty dollars, or imprisoned not more than thirty days for each separate offense, at the discretion of the court.

Sec. 2. That this Act shall take effect from and after its ratification.
