Section 1. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That section three of An Act to Incorporate the Trustees of Mount Vernon Academy, on Bay River, in Craven County, ratified on the sixteenth [wrong] day of February, anno domini one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, be and the same is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect from and after its ratification.

Ratified the 25th day of March, A.D., 1871.
