An Act Making an Appropriation for the Deaf and Dumb and Blind Asylum.

1868-1869 Public Laws: Chapter XIII

Public Laws of the State of North Carolina Passed in 1868-69 - Page 56.

Section 1. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That the sum ot thirty thousand dollars is hereby appropriated lor the purpose of defraying the expenses of the Deaf and Dumb and Blind Asylum, during the current fiscal year.

Sec. 2. That the Public Treasurer be authorized to pay the said amount of thirty thousand dollars to the Treasurer of said Asylum out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.

Sec 3. That this Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.

Ratified the 13th day of January, A.D., 1869.
