An Act to Amend the Charter of Carolina Female College in the County of Anson.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the Act passed at the session of 1848-'9, chartering the "Carolina Female College," in the county of Anson, be so amended as to allow the trustees of the same to hold property to the amount of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars for the purposes and under the restrictions and exemptions named in said charter.

Ratified the 2nd day of February, 1857.
