Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the
authority of the same, That the Act passed on the 24th December, 1844, entitled "An Act to Incorporate the Trustees of the Milton Female Institute in the County of Caswell," be so amended as to authorize and empower the said board of trustees, or a quorum of them, to establish a male classical institute, to be known and designated by such name as they may adopt, the said institution to be located in the county of Caswell.

Ratified 29th day of January, 1849.
