An Act to Amend the Act Incorporating the Trustees of Edenton Academy.

Laws of the State of North Carolina Passed in 1844-1845 - Pages 146-147.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the anthority of the same, That when vacancies occur by resignation or otherwise, of any of the present Trustees of Edenton Academy, it shall not be necessary to fill such vacancies by making other appointments, until the number of Trustees of said Academy shall be reduced to less than nine, and when so reduced said Trustees shall not thereafter exceed that number; and hereafter five Trustees shall constitute a quorum.

Sec. II. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.

Ratified the 9th day of December, 1844.
