An Act Concerning the Warrenton Academy.

The Laws of the State of North Carolina Enacted in the Year 1816 - Page 52

Whereas, owing to the dispersed situation of the Trustees of the Warrenton Academy, it often becomes difficult to procure the number required by law to constitute a Board, by which the interest of said institution suffers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passign of this Act, any four of the said trustees shall constitute a board, and may when convened, pass all such laws, rules and regulations for the government of said Academy, which the number heretofore required by law might or could have done, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
