An Act to Amend an Act Entitled "An Act to Establish an Academy in the City of Raleigh," Passed in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and One.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the present trustees of the Raleigh Academy be authorized and empowered whenever they shall deem it necessary for the promotion of the interests of the said institution to elect three additional trustees to the number which are prescribed by the above recited Act, who, when thus elected, shall possess the same powers with the present trustees of the said academy.
