An Act Granting Certain Priveleges to the Seminary of Learning in the County of Guilford.

The Laws of North Carolina of 1798 - Page 45

I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passing of this Act, the students who now are or hereafter may be in the seminary of learning in the county of Guilford, under the direction of the Reverend David Caldwell, shall enjoy and exercise all the priveleges and immunities that students in any chartered seminary in this state have by their charters heretofore granted, a right to possess and enjoy; any thing to the contrary notwithstanding.

the 24th day of December, Anno Domini, 1798
