North Carolina Delegates to the U.S. Congress

43rd U.S. Congress (1873-1875)

The 43rd U.S. Congress met in two sessions: 1) December 1, 1873 to June 23, 1874; and 2) December 7, 1874 to March 4, 1875. A Special Session was convened from March 4th to March 26th in 1873.

Due to the results of the 1870 U.S. Census, North Carolina was authorized to send eight (8) delegates to the U.S. House of Representatives. All North Carolina Districts were redrawn as of March 3, 1873.
