North Carolina Delegates to the U.S. Congress

33rd U.S. Congress (1853-1855)

The 33rd U.S. Congress met in two sessions: 1) December 5, 1853 to August 7, 1854; and 2) December 4, 1854 to March 4, 1855. A Special Session was convened from March 4th to April 11th in 1853.

Due to the results of the 1850 U.S. Census, North Carolina was authorized to send only eight (8) delegates to the U.S. House of Representatives. All North Carolina Districts were redrawn as of March 3, 1853.
