North Carolina Delegates to the U.S. Congress

28th U.S. Congress (1843-1845)

The 28th U.S. Congress met in two sessions: 1) December 4, 1843 to June 17, 1844; and 2) December 2, 1844 to March 3, 1845.

Due to the results of the 1840 U.S. Census, North Carolina was authorized to send only nine (9) delegates to the U.S. House of Representatives. All North Carolina Districts were redrawn as of March 3, 1843.
