The 113th U.S. Congress met in two sessions: 1) January 3, 2013 to December 26, 2013; and 2) January 3, 2014 to December 16, 2014. Due to the results of the 2010 U.S. Census, North Carolina was again authorized to send thirteen (13) delegates to the U.S. House of Representatives. All North Carolina Districts were redrawn as of January 3, 2013. |

Melvin Luther Watt resigned after being appointed by President Barack Obama as the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency on January 6, 2014. Alma Shealey Adams was elected to replace him and she took her seat on November 4, 2014. |
