Walter H. Dalton was President of the Senate. Janet Bryant Pruitt was the Principal Clerk - she retired on March 31, 2011. Sarah Clapp was then elected as Principal Clerk on April 4, 2011.
(1) Marc Basnight resigned his seat on January 25, 2011, reason not known. Stan White was appointed on January 25, 2011 to replace him.
(2) Richard Yates Stevens resigned his seat on September 7, 2012, reason not known. Tamara Barringer was appointed on October 4, 2012 to replace him.
(3) Don W. East died on October 22, 2012.
(4) Dr. James Summers Forrester died on October 31, 2011. Chris Carney was appointed on November 29, 2011 or December 8, 2011 (two different sources) to replace him.
(5) Debbie Ann Clary resigned her seat on January 10, 2012, reason not known. Wes Westmoreland was appointed on January 23, 2012 to replace her.
