The First Commons House of Assembly convened for at least eight (8) known sessions. The first session met from September 20th to October 15th in 1692. The second session met from January 9th to January 18th in 1693. The third session met from March 14th to March 16th in 1693. The fourth session met from May 8th to May 20th in 1693. The fifth session met from September 12th to September 20th in 1693. The sixth session met from March 13th to March 14th in 1694. The seventh session met from May 8th to May 11th in 1694. The eighth session met on June 11th in 1694. This first assembly met at least once after the journals ended. Dates of Acts passed show that they were in session in June of 1694, January of 1695, and July of 1695, however some of these later dates might have been for the 2nd Assembly. |
